As part of our holistic player development program, the workshop “When the Team Is a Family” was conducted with the 2015 generation, focusing on strengthening psychological stability and team dynamics among our young players.

The workshop aimed to foster a sense of safety and belonging within the group, deepen mutual trust, and raise awareness about the importance of team support. Through a structured and interactive approach, the children worked on understanding their role within the team, building positive communication, and recognizing both their own and others’ emotions.

Special emphasis was placed on strengthening self-confidence and intrinsic motivation key factors that directly influence performance on the pitch, as well as behavior and decision-making off it. At this age, developing a healthy attitude toward success, failure, cooperation, and responsibility lays the foundation for long-term sporting and personal growth.

The workshop was led by Iva Zdravkovska, a licensed sport psychologist, who provided a professional and supportive environment where the children could learn and grow.

Such initiatives are an essential part of our methodology. We strongly believe that a strong team is built not only through tactical preparation and technical training, but also through character development, empathy, and mutual respect. Football is a collective game, and when a team truly feels like a family, it creates a stable foundation for both performance and personal development.
